My name is Katherine Germosen, and I have always understood the power of fashion – how it can boost our confidence and energize us to take on the day.  That's why I founded Kat Germossen, a New Jersey-based fashion brand creating distinct, sophisticated, affordable ready-to-wear pieces.  Each piece has an added layer of uniqueness, — made from dead stock fabrics or upcycled from vintage fabrics, creating my vision of sustainable everyday luxury.

I am a born a designer— as a child, barely five, I was fascinated by the way the clothing looked and felt wearing pieces I had meticulously picked out. Soon after I was using my love of style to create outfits for my siblings and friends.  This was, is, pure joy for me.  I can’t imagine life without fashion.

While my formal fashion career started over a decade ago, I took a hiatus from the industry to master my skills. The 2020 pandemic altered my trajectory.  I have returned-- impassioned, focused, with bountiful creativity!
